Cookie and local storage policy
In shortBy default this site sets no cookies. It stores only your notice choice in your browser’s local storage. If you click Accept, we also use Google Analytics cookies to count visits. If you click Reject, nothing else is stored. We use no advertising or social-media trackers.

Analytics cookies are optional and are off until you click Accept. Strictly necessary local storage used solely for site functionality does not require prior consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR); we disclose it here for full transparency.
2. Third-party content and external services
- Google Analytics (optional): only after you click Accept, your browser loads Google’s analytics script from googletagmanager.com. Google receives your IP address, the pages you view, and your device, browser and approximate location. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalisation. Learn more in our Privacy policy.
- No other trackers: this website does not load cross-site trackers, advertising pixels, remote web fonts, maps or embedded video players.
- Form submissions: when you submit a project review application, the form data is sent securely to Formspree to route it to our inbox (as described in our Privacy policy).
- Payment processing: when you start payment for a review, you are redirected securely to PayPal. Once you are on PayPal’s domain, PayPal’s own cookie and data policies apply to that session.
3. Your choices
- Analytics stays off until you click Accept. Reject is shown with equal prominence.
- You can change your mind at any time: click “Privacy choices” in the footer and choose Reject. We then stop analytics and delete the analytics cookies.
- If we add other optional features in future, they will also need your opt-in, and this policy will be updated first.
4. Managing cookies and local storage
You can view, clear or reset local storage at any time through your browser settings (often under Clear browsing data or Site data). Clearing your browser data will simply make the site notice appear again on your next visit. You can also use the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.
